Liquid Glass - Applications
|
the future of surface protection ... today!
|
|
|
Liquid glass is recognized as being suitable for agricultural and in-vivo applications. Grape vines
coated with SiO² don’t suffer from mildew. Coated seeds grow more rapidly without the need
for anti-fungal chemicals. This will result in farmers in enjoying substantially increased yields
while saving time and funds to apply chemicals and fertilizers to crops. This product can
even be sprayed on strawberries to protect from environmental influences, and then eaten!

- Surface treatment for windows, tiles, medical equipment, etc
|
more info |
Any glass surface can be treated, such as windows and windshields. The transparency of
the glass is in no way impaired by the coating and undesired light reflexes are not detected.
Ceramics can be treated such tiles with glazed surfaces, baths and wash basins, architectural
ceramics, and monuments. Drinking and cooking vessels, as floor and roof coverings, dental prosthesis,
are many other high-tech-applications especially where extreme temperature resistance is required.

Metallic surfaces partly require a protective layer in order to prevent oxidization or abrasion.
Our liquid glass coatings, specifically designed for metallic surfaces, can add enhanced properties
to metals, these properties protect the value and the performance of the these important items.
Benefits are protection against corrosion and abrasion, acid and alkaline resistance, hydrophobicity,
oleophobicity, conductibility (isolation/insulation), and resistance to antimicrobial growth.

|
|
Many technical inventions and developments were only feasible once various plastics
were invented. However it is important to recognize that the properties of plastic materials
can be optimized by applying a liquid glass surface treatment.
Benefits are an easy to clean surface, protection against corrosion and abrasion, acid and
alkaline resistance, hydrophobicity, oleophobicity, conductibility (isolation/insulation),
and resistance to antimicrobial growth.

- Surface treatment for stone, cement, etc
|
more info |
Stone materials appear robust and durable, but they can still use protection. Aggressive
environmental influences and graffiti affect their aesthetics. The liquid glass coatings
do not denigrate the natural characteristics of stone, such
as water absorption, breathability and thermal insulation. The stone treatment offers
additional valuable properties such as graffiti protection, protection against aggressive
environmental influences, hydrophobicity, anti-fouling (algae and mold).

- Surface treatment for carpets, furniture, etc
|
more info |
Any artificial fibers or natural fibers can be treated with liquid glass, even hybrid
materials consisting of i.e. cotton and polyester. Some benefits of the treatment are
protection against hydrolysis, acid and alkaline resistance, spark protection, abrasion
protection, protection against oxidization, improved cleanability, anti-soiling,
protection against abrasion, unaltered breath ability, no tangible and visible change,
antimicrobial protection, improvement of color fastness.

- Surface treatment for decking, wood floors, toys, etc
|
more info |
Preserves the wood surfaces with a non-toxic, invisible treatment. For use on parquet floors, walls,
laminate, decks, toys, etc. The application provides the surfaces with excellent
soil-resisting characteristics. Benefits include hydrophobic, dirt-resistant,
weatherproofing, easy spray application, physiologically harmless, UV protection, odorless,
non-corrosive and non-irritating. In testing, a sprayed piece of wood was buried in a termite
mound for 9 months and came out unscathed!
