A/C PowerMizer is an electronic smart box that maximizes the cooling effect of
air conditioners by re-sizing the cooling output to match the actual demand of
the area cooled. This add-on technology helps the a/c unit provide energy
efficient cooling, without affecting any part of the unit being modified.
A/C PowerMizer engineer's have produced this smart, electronic, memory-based,
sensor driven unit to increase the functional efficiency of an air conditioning system.
Once installed, the A/C PowerMizer stands by to begin saving. The unit also
has the added benefit of surge protection.

The A/C PowerMizer is compatible with most residential and light commercial
a/c units. e.g. packaged direct expansion(DX), split systems, PTAC units utilizing
a single thermostat or sensor. It may also be used on coolers, pop machines,
small refrigerators and chillers.

With its proactive program, the A/C PowerMizer is constantly learning the
way the air exiting the evaporator coils is being effected by cooling. The unit
then adjusts the running time of the compressor so that the air conditioner cools
the air to its maximum potential with minimum energy usage.
Once the air has reached the calculated coolness, further running of the compressor
is wasting energy. This is when the A/C PowerMizer's program shuts down the
compressor to save energy, thus putting the unit into "Mizer Mode".
A/C PowerMizer's program will then sense the optimum temperature to resume
refrigerant cooling of the air. It then turns the compressor back on, continuing
an uninterrupted comfort of the cooling cycle. Calculated cycling continues until
the existing thermostats' temperature is satisfied. The thermostat then shuts the
air conditioning unit off. The A/C PowerMizer is constantly sampling and
storing temperatures in its memory. Since conditions are always changing, so are
the A/C PowerMizer's settings.

A/C PowerMizer not only saves energy, it also reduces the operating time of the
compressor, thus extending its life. The A/C PowerMizer also eliminates
frozen coils and premature coil replacement caused by stretching during freezing.
Saving energy equals saving money.
Typical saving are 20% and higher of the cost to run the air conditioner.
Some A/C PowerMizer clients have achieved savings over 30%.
This energy saving does not deter the cooling process, in fact, it
produces the benefit of more uniformed cooling.
The A/C PowerMizer is also surge protected and can be
easily transfered to a new unit.
